Foreign nationals who wish to visit the Tibetan Settlement in Dolanji, India (including Menri Monastery) are required to take note of the following:
It is mandatory that all the visitors have a PAP (Protected Area Permit) to stay overnight within the Tibetan Settlement. This permit is not required for daytime visits. All of the Tibetan settlements established in India are classified as Protected Areas by the Government of India.
